Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the copy in exchange for an honest opinion.

Alright so this review is going to be tough to do without spoiling anything but here we go.

I liked this book way more than book 1, The Veil. The Veil was very uneventful, but this one, The Web, was very eventful. Things were actually happening besides people thinking, plotting, and denying. They were moving around have a good or bad time. The most important thing was that they weren’t pondering their existence and what others will be doing. There were also a lot of things that were revealed. I won’t mention them in case you want to read the book, but they made me really happy.

Also, with all of the hustle and bustle going on, I started developing theories about what would happen. But nothing was confirmed or denied until book 3. Which kind of sucked, but that doesn’t affect how I feel about this book.

What did affect how I feel, was the romance. Although book 1 had romance, it was amped up in book 2, which made my heart happy. And again, since there was more romance, characters started to realize feelings and emotions that they were burying. It wasn’t really swoon-worthy, but it was good enough.

And surprisingly, but also not really, it ended in a cliff hanger. I won’t tell you what, but I wanted to start book 3 right away! This book was definitely a huge difference to book 1, and if you’re contemplating whether to continue this after reading book 1, I encourage you to, because this book was awesome!
